Power line proximity alerter

Public

The Power Line Proximity Alerter project is a feasibility study on the design and construction of a device that uses a Honeywell HMR 1002 Magnetic Field Sensor to detect power lines at a distance that will allow pilots of small aircraft to avoid impacting on the power lines. The project determines that it is possible to detect power lines with the magnetic field sensor and includes results and recommendations for future development of the project.
