This MQP is a triple-disciplinary Computer Science, IMGD and Mechanical Engineering project, in which virtual reality hardware and a software platform have been designed and developed with the goal of correcting color-deficiency ocular conditions. Our software application has been built using Unity and C++ to leverage our hardware in order to be able to adapt to the user’s eyes which will help simulate a more color rich environment with the goal of helping train vision and object-color relationships. Our hardware device has been designed in SolidWorks and constructed using purchased electronic components and 3D printed frame pieces.
