WEDNESDAY, May 26, 1920 147 83° Warmest so far Schutz was here and I spent about all day with him. We made some tests on beams using the drop in the forge shop. We showed him clearly how we had improved the beam by drawing We broke 4 beams from retruned plows while on 6 drawn beams 5 stood 25 blows while 1 broke on the 3rd blow. We then went to Homewood Farm where we saw a No 45 plow used as a horse plow. We promised to make 6 of those for Schutz. We also saw a No 40 behind a Fordson. Finch, Barlow, & Osborne were here from Syracuse and we in the field with narrow K.C. and new spring tooth rig. In evening Elise & I went to a dance given by the Dwight Wiman's for the bridal couple.
